HDMI-разъемом сегодня оборудованы многие домашние AV-устройства и компьютеры, передает не только картинку, но и звуки. DVI-видеокабель — часто используется в сфере компьютерного и профессионального видео. Есть различные модификации (-I, -A, -D). Разъем DVI-I обеспечивает и аналоговую, и цифровую передачу. DVI-кабель может использоваться для связи системного блока компьютера с монитором, видеопанелью или проектором (которые имеют соответствующий разъем).
SCART-кабель — унифицирует соединения различных устройств, объединяя все необходимые сигналы в одном многополюсном штекере. Большинство телевизоров оснащены как минимум одним разъемом SCART. Через SCART возможна передача аналоговых и цифровых команд.
Компонентный YPbPr-видеокабель — состоит из трех отдельных RCA-проводов (по три RCA-разъема определенного цвета с каждого конца). Позволяет передавать компонентный аналоговый видеосигнал.
VGA-кабель — 15-контактный субминиатюрный разъем для подключения аналоговых мониторов по стандарту VGA. Данным интерфейсом оснащаются компьютерные мониторы, некоторые DVD-проигрыватели, многие плазменные и ЖК-видеопанели.
Композитный видеокабель — передает полный цветной аналоговый видеосигнал в исходной полосе видеочастот без звукового сопровождения по одноканальному RCA-кабелю (иногда коаксиальному).
